Can't Find 'new' Information?

Do me a favor. Go to the shelf, look at your books (or ebooks) and pick up the book that you think provides the most information for you. Or, go and buy that ebook you saw a few days ago that you think will give you lots of new ideas or catapult you to success. Guess what, you might end up disappointed because you are NOT going to find a book that has ALL NEW information. Lets say, you have read ebooks on how to generate traffic to your website. Then, you found a new ebook that you wanted to buy that claims to reveal new traffic generation strategies. To be honest, you might learn one or new strategies. Most of the other strategies are something that you have already heard of, or been exposed to. But guess what, Im just happy to learn ONE new traffic generation idea from that book! And it doesnt end there. Im delighted to read the other strategies that Ive already known! Why? It gives me more assurance that the other strategies work, otherwise all those other people wont be claiming how useful it is, right? It doesnt end there. Heres why, each time I read an ebook teaching about generating traffic I found out that most of the gurus said that writing articles will bring more traffic. Each time I read that, Ill take action immediately and start writing a new article. See what happens? Each time I read, I take action. Each time I take action, Ill get results. If I didnt read that book that gives me repeated information, Id never have thought of writing a new article. Lesson: Dont just go trying to find new ideas, but look at old ideas as a reminder of your present situation. Does it end here? Nope. There are advantages to reading an ebook that the content is repeated information. Heres one true example: Im a member of David Vallieres Private Membership Site at http://www.internetcoachingprogram.com/members/index.html. As I was browsing through the content, I came to an article titled, Underground Traffic. Curious like a cat, I wanted know what this underground-thing was, I started to read. And I found out this underground traffic tactic is to use expired domains to get their existing traffic when the owners did not renew their domain names. At first, I was thinking ... Thats an old strategy. Ive heard about it. Wait a minute ... if I did, why didnt I use it? See what happens here? If I never read it again, Ill never explore this strategy AGAIN in my life! And finally, repeat information may lead you to more new ideas. Of course, youll need to be a little bit more creative to do this. If buying expired domains can bring traffic, what other ideas can you come up with to make more money online? How about, sell off that domain again for a higher price when theres consistent traffic coming to it? So dont go about complaining getting the same information when you read a book or purchase a new one. It all depends on how you want to benefit from it. If you look for the holes in shining armor, guess what will happen? Even the tiniest hole that can only fit an ant will justify your logic.
