This is why the main essence of the Tibet anthem is a call and an appeal to the higher being, “the source of temporal and spiritual wealth of joy and boundless benefits…the all-protecting Patron of the Doctrine and of all sentient beings…by his actions…influence like an ocean…by his eternal nature…his compassion and loving care extend to beings everywhere…May a golden age of joy and happiness spread once more through these regions of Tibet and may its temporal and spiritual splendor shine again...victoriously dispel the strife of darkness”. The Tibet anthem is a plea to the heavens to grant their country the light and life that they once had, to bring back the spirit and radiance to its people.
